Life Update [Notion template]

A simple Notion template for beginners. No coding skills required!
Have a crazy life update you want to share with your friends & family? Good luck finding the time to send out (and reply-to) all those texts! Replace all those individual text messages with a single link you can send out to everyone by turning it into a Notion page with this template.

This Notion template was originally created with the intent of updating my friends & fam of a pretty big life event that happened - after breaking my leg at 14 years old, I developed a rare injury that required 10 doctor's visits over a 2 month span. I quickly grew tired of texting everyone with the day-to-day updates of my situation, and the information was too private to be shared on Facebook or any other social media sites.

With this template, I was able to share all the details of my situation by including relevant URL links to help them understand the context of my injury. Additionally, I was able to update and edit the Notion page whenever a relevant update came up after a doctor appt!

This template also has the purpose of showing off how powerful Notion can be with utilizing some of it’s most basic features including:

• embedding images
• linking databases/pages (both internal and external)
